Beginning Quilting Class

This class is for beginner quilters who want to learn how to quilt or anyone who wants to refresh your quilting skills. Participants will use their own sewing machines, sewing tools and fabric. A list of supplies and fabric needed will be handed out prior to first class.

Two different time slots: afternoon and evening. Class will be held with a minimum of 3 attendees and limited to 6.

Students will learn to cut straight strips, sew strip sets straight using a quarter inch seam, squaring up blocks, assembling the quilts, how to ease when necessary, borders the correct way.

Homework is required to complete the project. Extra time is needed to quilt at home to complete the steps of the project.

A list of supplies needed will be provided and we can help you pick out your fabric if you would like us to.
